All,

I'm finalising a plot very soon and was wondering what will be the cost of fencing with a gate. The plot will be 40x90.

Which of the following will be cheaper, cost per sqft and recommended?

[1] Stone pillars with barbed wire fence (can we buy used barb wire and stone pillars?)
[2] Clay brick wall
[3] Stone wall
[4] Concrete brick wall

I'm interested in knowing how this will be quoted and what are the things to watch out for. Also, are there any good known contractor for the same?

Thanks in advance,
Anand

Hi, Anand
Fence wire is the cheapest option available . It will cost you any where between 100 to 140 per rft depending up on quality of wire,no of rows, how deep the stone fixed , dist between 2 stones etc.
Other options of fencing works costly

Hello Praveen,
what is the standard requirement for a wire fence
1. standard distance between 2 stone pillars
2. standard number of rows
3. how deep should the stone go inside the ground.
4. for the above standards settings, how much would it cost per running foot.

I know it does vary with the area etc. but a general standard numbers would help in estimating the cost.

thank you.
