Checklists while planning bore well for house.

Hi ,
I am in process of planning construction of house in a layout near to Begur Bangalore South. I am also thinking to have bore well before start excavation. Today I have gone through this blog site and came to know various problems and solutions raised by different members.
1) I am very new to this bore well drilling process. Are there any checklists which one needs to follow during planning for bore well, during drilling process and post drilling process. This would really help people like me who are very new to this field to plan further.
2) For locating water point in a site: There are different methods and request suggestions on which is the best method. The concern in casse of locating a point in site is that always it is convenient to drill a borewell near the car parking area. Even if the water experts shows a point which is in location where the building is planned then usually we will not for it in that point. In such cases how reliable is to find a right point in small lot say around 30x40 feet.
3) Which metod of locating water point is for efficient? Some says using coconut some says using stick etc. Which to opt for for locating the point?
3) Is the borewell needs to b drilled before excavation (digging for foundatioin of house) ?
4)Do we need to have some gap for excavation after drilling the borewell? If yes how many days?
5) What precautions needs to be taken during excavation if the pillar is planned very near to the already drilled borwell?
6) What should be ideal distance for borewll to the underground tank? Are there any issues if the underground tank is very near to the bore well? Usually in a single car park space people plan underground tank and borewll in the same area say for eg, 10Ft (Widthx15Ft-length)
7) There is manhole for sewage line opposite to our site just 2 feet away from north east corner.in the main road. Are there any issues in the future if the borewll is planned near tot he manhole
8) Finally-- Now a days every one in Bangalore (other then BDA areas) are going for borewell before starting house construction. Once all the houses are constructed in a layout of 100 sites, there will be at least one bore well in every 30 feet of radius in a a layout. In this situation how reliable/useful and how cost effective is to go for bore well considering the long term horizon.
Sorry for throwing lot of questions in a single thread. Request your suggestions which really help to plan things.
Regards
