Hi,
I am constructing 35 squares(10 ft x 10ft) house + 15 squares(10ft x10ft) of stilt floor.

I wanted to know how much does it cost for the construction of stilt floor.
The plan is stilt floor (15 squares) + gnd floor (16 squares) + 1st floor (17 squares).

I plan to supply the materials and give it for labour contract.
For labour contract how do they evaluate for stilt floor?
My labour contract charges Rs 15000 per square(10 ft x 10ft) for normal construction.
Does this charge will remain the same for stilt floor also or will it be less, as the height is less and it is the cost of extra slab and height of the pillar which i need to bare, there are no interior walls inside?

Could anyone throw somelight as to how much does this cost for 15 squares of stilt floor construction and what is the quote i should expect from my labour contractor on this?
As anyone used robo sand for concrete and brick work in this forum, the cost comes to around Rs20/cft, close to rs 10000 per leyland lorry(500 cft)?

Hi,
In general for stilt floor you can ask for half the other floor rate.Make sure when you go for labor contract what all includes in it?They quote price for only slab area.
Check if slab projections,chajjas come in to this caliculation.They charge extra for compound wall,around house,sumps etc....

Make everything clear before you enter in to the contract.The other important thing is payment schedule.Oral confirmation on payment schedule is of no use.Get in writing with clear bench marks for payment.They insist on weekly payments ,its not easy to track the payment left.Before the work finishes you realize that you have paid much more than agreed.
Robo sand is not much used in residential sector as of now.Its mainly used in large projects ,ready mix plants etc....Just make sure the supply chain of robo sand .
