Re: Plan To Start Construction
The rains have played spoilsport. We were supposed to start the construction of sump. But waiting for the rains to cease.
I am awaiting a reply on the dimensions of the door frame. Is it a good idea to go State Forestry dept and give an order for the teak frame, door, pooja door and frame ?

Sump is done. We have replaced the clay soil and filled red soil in the footings and empty spaces in the site.
We have been advised to pour water, make holes and wait for the soil to settle before starting with the foundation work.
Work will start full steam tomorrow with foundation work and getting the construction upto plinthe area.

We will be going for roof mould soon, next week. Hopefully we get the wiring and plumbing diagrams frozen and we can go ahead with construction without any more changes to the plans. I will have a preview of the interiors before proceeding with construction of first floor.

Completed the ground floor slab work. Ran into some problems with delays in getting bar-bending work. I am very happy with the execution so far.
Good co-ordination by all the teams to get the drawings, execute it to perfection. Now hoping for the first floor to be completed as per schedule.

This weekend we will complete the slabwork for first floor. We had some difficulty in procuring river sand but thankfully we got a very good load last week.
The interior walkthrough rough draft has been shared by the architect's team, we hope that with the final stages coming up soon, we will get the changes incorporated satisfactorily.

Curing done. We have installed window grills. Interior plastering has started. Electrical wiring also started parallely. We have cut the walls as per the requirements.
Next step is to choose tiles.
