Dear All,
my question is to all the experts here. Why haven't the prices come down even after the CM's address and promise? I tried calling all my contacts for pure river sand. No one is ready to supply for less than Rs 80/- pcft. I expected somewhere in the range Rs 65-70/- which was the rate before the strike!
A few updates. I am getting a load of Karur River sand today at Rs 83/- pcft. I have been talking to the folks at materialtree.com. I feel they are very geniune, very professional and highly informed lot. I have been getting my sand supplies, TMT and Cement from them. I highly recommend them, though it is a personal choice. Please pm me if you need contact details.
Btw, for people near KR Puram/ Whitefield/ Marathhalli, Lorries have started getting river sand loads from Kollegal and Singanur. The stand is near Bhattarahalli. The prices for a Six wheeler is still about 40k
(No Cft based unloading). A 12 wheeler is about 1lakh. These prices were still negotiable

Today brought lorry load thircy sand for 24k. This is my 3rd load from the same supplier.. For others they are charging from 25 to 28k based on the loactation. They supply 380 cft sand (6 Wheeler direct load). Last time here some people asked me to give the number of sand supplier, i didnt gave to any one.
