Today i went to chandapura to get karur sand for molding. In that sand point more then 30 sand lorries was there. most of the sand is from thirchy. ( They told us that new karur sand yard was open before krishnagiri. From friday onwards we can supply karur sand)..Now Price range is from 35 to 45k. Some are shifting loads and some are direct loads. So we went to attible. There we didnt find single lorry. Because most of the lorry owners are preferring chandapura. In between attibele and chandapura we found some lorries. But all are with ton based (1 ton is 1700rs). So we went to huskur gate sand point. 80% lorries are with filter sand. Rest are shifting. At the same time one of my cousin called me for some work. so i told him that, i am in chandapura and came for sand. He asked me to wait for a min and called his friend. Luckily his friend said that he is having 4 units of karur sand. One more best thing is that lorry was parked 200mts away from my home. For 24500 we got that load. Again and again i am telling dont contact anyone in the phone. If you want the sand means go to the sand point with your mestri or contractor and fix the price. If you go by phone contact means definitely you people get shifting load only..

hey guys finally got river sand and the cost is very High than last time. For 12 wheeler I paid Rs 77000 after hefty bargain. I had also taken sand from same guy last time so he gave it for little less other wise he would not have given less than 80k.

If u can u can contact Ramesh - 9845852781

And please note I don't have any personal relationship with Ramesh and if u buy r dont buy from him I will not gain anything

900cft it was the last time I took a measurement. Manufactured sand should not be a problem as long as its Coarse and not too fine. After all, sand comes from Rock too  . Jokes apart, it would be a good idea to use M-sand and mix of river sand atleast for RCC roofing.
Our CM mentioned a day before that the prices of sand would come down drastically within a week. I think places in Karnataka will open up for Mining? anyone has more news on this?

One of the sand lorry guys was mentioning last time that Govt. will start giving them permission to get sand from Kollegala, one of the better river bed sand quality in the state. Its been 3 months since then, and I didnt see anything happening. May be its just a false news!
