Hi,
Solar day light tubes are good options but low ceiling height, heat trap will be an issue unless you have good went . Currently these systems are more used in warehouses, factories. The cost of these tubes are expensive as you increase the lenght of the tubes. In industires the length of pipes will be very minimal and the quantity makes its bit cheaper.
Using regular pipe may not work unless you have reflective coating inside and good light collectors on top.
I am not sure if allumium expanded pipe works as reflective pipes, i will try it :). To get the accessories for fixing you can approach any roofing fabricators , they can make profile flash plates based on your requirement.
Currently in the market these day light tubes are quite expensive in a range of 20,000/- to 40,000/- .
