Recommendation needed for Architect in Bangalore

Fellow Boarders,
I have an independent house in North Bangalore. The house is 3 storey including ground floor on a 40*60 site. The ground floor has an old fashion layout causing inefficient use of space and sub optimal living experience . I would like to evaluate my options for changing the layout for ground floor without compromising the structural integrity of the building. Please advise how should I go about it ? I would also appreciate recommendations for Architects/Interior designers and Contractor/Engineers for this work.

Please also share, if you have gone through a similar exercise yourselves and what was your experience.
