Reliable contractor for renovation work

Looking for a reliable contractor for renovation work.
Work involved: Kitchen, bathroom, flooring, false ceiling, painting etc.

Experience so far: Spoke to a couple of organised companies. They turned out be aggregators. Also, not suitable for civil work. Spoke to a couple of others. Not very impressed with their workmanship. (Also, in some cases, they kept calling me. Is it fair to assume, they are desperate for work and hence may not be good?)

Please recommend only if you have hired them.
