What is the process to start paying tax for the constructed house instead of plot after the contruction? Do we need to do self assessment? Can someone please point to any online tool where we can do this.

hi, you can visit your ward bbmp office, the officer will come and do the survey or if you can take the measurements you can input in the bbmp tax portal, it have options for adding builtup area, calculation will auto populate. For zone classifications, use the pdf doc in the bbmp portal for reference. Hope this helps.
