BBMP Road Cutting Permission

Hello All,

Do we have to obtain a separate permission from BBMP for road cutting.

The road cutting charges are paid while BBMP Plan approval.
Is this sufficient to carryout the sanitary connection for construction workers temp shed?
Or should we apply again?

Hi, Kumar
Though you pay charges for road cut along with a sanction fee one has to apply for a request in bbmp local office as the road condition keeps changing. Incase road is newly laid they will object for some time.
You cannot connect to the temp toilet as road cut charges are not for BWSSB connection. you need to get permission from bwssb for permanent connection before connecting to the UGD.

We did enquire at the Zonal BBMP office and confirmed that their will be no separate permission required apart from the endorsement received for the road cutting fee paid during Plan Approval.

For sewage and water connection, yes we need to get the approval at the time when the building is ready for permanent connection.
