Slag sand rates compared to M-sand

Any one here used slag sand (granulated blast furnace slag sand) ?

What are the prevailing rates of slag sand and good quality M-sand ?

We have used Sand slag for only for plastering which is best when compared to M-Sand

Thank sat1eesh could you please share from where you procured slag sand and the cost difference between slag sand and m sand.

Hi,
Slag sand is better alternate compared to M sand. In M sand also you get plastering M sand that are tiny, smoother granule and double washed to make sure its free from quarry dust.

What is the going rate for slag sand ?

Approximater per Ton comes to Rs.1700 to 2000/-

Purchased Slag Sang at 1800/- per ton , Got one full lorry load 26 T which is approx. 700 Cubic Feet
(that was the condition put by supplier)

It was herculean task to find a supplier or even get a sample finally ordered without getting a test sample which
contractor was suggesting. Lots of people have listed as slag sand supplier on Indiamart but they push M-Sand or River sand
and people attending the calls are at times too unaware to know what exactly is slag.


If one get arrange from transport from Bellary it is quite cheap ( 730Rs per T) + 300 Rs for loading
