Dear Friends ,
I am told that LG UPVC windows are a good buy , kindly let know what is the rate per sqft and also in terms of quality .
If there is any other brand apart from LG , kindly let know of the same .
P.S.- I am not considering Fenesta due to its high pricing .
The second query I have is regards to the Copper pipe for plumbing .My engineer is saying that copper pipe is very good in terms of durability & I am not very convinced about the same & primarily because of the cost .Is it advisable to go with copper pipes or stick with the regular pipes ?
Thanks in advance......................

hi sandeuz,
LG UPVC are good in quality terms costs arround 550 to 600/sft including tax and mosquito mess ,with respect window size and type of window
mean while komerling and veka , rehau also quality brands but Hard ware is the matter and higher cost , since LG use its all LG hardware
other china brands avialbe for 350 to 450
copper pipe considerably high cost CPVC pipe are more than enough to with stand our pressure and long lasting compare to GI
only you have to be care full while using booster pumps if at all used

Re: UPVC WINDOWS FROM LG
Hi,
Any prime brands like LG, Rehau, wintec will start at min 600-700/- per sft for a large size sliding windows in white profile with mosquito net. Most brands have single version and single quality range unlike fenesta.
Fenesta premium series villawindows starts at 1200/- per sft, the only issue with fenesta is that their price is not justifiable even after UPVC is no more unique product in the market.
UPVC window prices will work out cheaper when you go with standard sizes with less wastage like 3'x4', 4'x4', 6'x6' sliding windows. Larger the size of the window less the price per sft . Casement windows are 15-20% expensive than sliding due to its hardware and section sizes used.
