Hello All,
I am looking for HPL boards for exterior cladding and need help in choosing a Good cost effective one.
1. Fundermax HPL boards is turning out to be costly
2. There are many local ones Merino/Greenlam Clads, Frontage and many others where manufacturing is done in India.
All are claiming 10years warranty, UV protection on both side, fire resistant and each one is trying to selling that they are the best, I am in a confused state on whom to trust. Can you please suggest which one of these is Good and are there other any other good vendors.

Hi, Murali
HPL are manufactured in india by many companies now. Fundermax reduced price after the competition in the market. You can go with reliable brands like merino and green-lam since they are in the laminate industry for ages now, hpl is also a laminate made in higher thick using only craft paper as core.
Check for specs of the HPL if its 2 side UV coated or only one side. In case of one side uv coat make sure installation happens with UV coated to front side exposed to sun and rain.

Thanks Praveen.
Yes going through the specs for both Merino and Greenlam. Any disadvantages you foresee with these compared to Fundermax.
OR to be safe Is it worth paying extra money for Fundermax ?, Kindly suggest based on your experience which one to opt for considering value for money and at the same time not compromising on Quality.

Hi
I used Merino HPL material about 600SQ FT. The price is very less compared to Fundermax. If you use HPL, make sure rivets are little closer, If the laminate length is high and width is small, then it may bend after sometime.
I paid Rs.330/sqft and Rs.145/sqft for laying.
