Hi,
I will have around 25 (all around 20 to 30 years old) very good Honne doors and windows from our close friends demolished home which I would like to store them in our 1st floor room for my future construction.
Can you guys please let me know on how to store these doors and windows for around 4 to 5 years safely without any damage?
Thanks very much in advance.
Regards,
Ramki

Hi Ramki,
If you are planning to store them, just make sure you have applied anti termite on all . Since you won't be accessing them for long time there are chances of termite attack.

We get anti termite spray in hardware shops. Just spray across all doors and windows? Is that enough?
Thanks

HI Ramki,
Yes, the one you get in hardware shops can be sprayed using normal manual sprayer. You should do this spray once in two or three years. Termite attacks wood faster when there is no human moment and they can sense a live wood vs dead easily.
