BBMP Horamav Plan sanction contact details

Hello All,
Fiinally i have given design plans for my house (G+2) floor at Horamavu with one of the architect. While i was speaking with a guy BBMP for procedure on house construction approval he said that in Hormavu BBMP , Enginner has approval only for 1 kitchen and if i have 4 kitchen plan then i need to approach Mahadevapura for plan sanction process.

Is that true ? Does the approval really varies according to ward ?

Hi,

Not sure about this, but when I had gone there for some work, the BBMP person in the Horamavu office had mentioned they approve upto 60x40 plan sanctions. I do not do any plan sanctions just giving you the info. Do let me know what happened.

Hi Rithick,
Yes you need to approach zonal head bbmp office ( mahadevapura )for any plan with more than 2 kitchens in single floor if i am not wrong. The reason behind it is because it falls under apartment definition of multi dwelling unit and the authority to sanction multi dwelling unit is only with chief engineer siting in the zonal head office BBMP.
