Tata Solar Water heater

I have to install solar water to my house and as per most of the people was able to finalize on Tata solar water heater.
But however I have been hearing that Tata have closed the domestic solar water heater plant and the dealers are giving us the leftover stock and may have service related problems in the future
Can you people please confirm if Tata have actually closed the domestic solar water heater plant and if yes do you think if I still go ahead and buy Tata Solar water heater will I have any service related issue in the future?

Tata Solar is focussing on it's indistry, Hotel and other bigger solar plants business. Theire domestic solar market is shrinking. Better go for other companies like Solarizer, Anu etc who are completly focussed on Domestic solar business and will continue to give good after sales service.

Go with Solarizer, My sister last month bought for 32000/- for 200 Litres . Their Service is also Good.

From companay representative, I got a quotation for solarizer make solar water heater 200L (model : Spring-AV) for 34500/- (including Transportation and installation except plumbing).

Can you tell which model you are talking for 32000/- for 200l. I have to finalise soon.

Hi Sahu,

We got installed with Solarizer Spring AV model.
This is top model and others models are Ultra and Value.

Cost is 32000 + 300 installation charges.

We got through with some known relatives, might be price increased,
If it is near to your house, please take from that agency as it would help i future for any issues.

I would say it is very good in performance, get good amount of Hot water.

It is not the water heater that is the clincher but the direction which is most important. No technology will be good enough if you have poor lighting falling on the equipment. South-west direction is best for solar installation.
