Questions on Labour Contract

Hi All,

We are planning start construction in Chandra Layout area and we are looking for a good labour contractor. Please help us with the following:

1. What is the current ongoing labour cost (per chadra) quoted by the contractors?

2. Can you refer any good and reliable labour contractor?

3. [IMP] Is the price quoted based on the site area or roof area? What is the difference?

1. I think the good ones might be charging 280-290 rs/sft depending on design and complexity of work involved.

3. Generally price quoted is roof to roof area.

Mine is item rate contract. So don't know exactly how #3 is calculated in case of passages or car park areas in GF
