Cost of bar bending

Hi All,

I am constructing G+1 house near Ballendur. Can you please advise on bar bending rate and centering rate. My engineer has suggested heavy footing by considering my future plan of G+3 floor it includes 20mm, 16mm and 8mm rods.

Appreciate quick suggestion.

I got a quotation of around 65000 per ton for reinforcement, this was based on a rate of 45000 per ton for steel. However, later I changed my mind and decided to purchase the steel myself, so am paying the difference for the binding and other labour.

bar bending cost is 20% of centering cost both are in sqft so if you know whats the area you can calculate.

What will be the current price for bar bending and centering for footing mat and column. My architect has given heavy footing and column by considering my future plan of G+3. Will there be higher rate for bar bending if footing or column contains 20mm rods instead of normal 12,8mm rods.

Hi,

Bar bending charges 2000/- per chadra(100sqft).

Centering charges 23-25 Rupees per sqft.
