Granite Or Marble

Hi All,

I would like to go for marble but don't know the current cost/sq-ft.

Granite of good quality is around 100/sq-ft.I need atleast 2400 sq ft.

1)Which is cheaper : Marble or Granite ?
2) What will be the labour cost of granite or mable?

Please let me know your suggestions.

marble is costlier than granite. even labour cost.

if u have more money, go for marble. there are diff varieties in granite, marble so does the rates.

use marble or granite in Hall, Dining, Pooja areas but not in bedrooms as cots cover more area.

Other than granite and marble we have a lot of choices for flooring in stones ,you need to concider stones like kota ,tandur ,jaisalmer for your bed rooms and porticos these are cost effective and give a entirely different look ,for the steps and the car park area you need to look at hand made tiles from chetinad.

Looking for tile options for Portico. We did not like the usual Endura parking tile type due to colors and lack of variety.
We have looked at KOTA also and not happy.
