My Dream House Construction Experience
Re: My Dream House Construction Experience
Hello,
Work at site is going at a slow pace, as sand is not available and didn't stocked huge quantity due to lack of storage space, for example shuttering guy taking his own time to do the lintel box forming.Good in a way ,curing can be done properly.
Also got time to pay attention to some other paper work like accounts , to study other diagrams and plans like electrical circuit and wiring diagrams and elevations etc.,
Wow ! elevation 3D visual diagram/details were given about two, three days back to choose between two options. And in a family of four , each option got equal votes ,so we are in a fix to decide .
Thought of taking votes from this forum members ,but unfortunately voting feature is not enabled by the admins for members like me. Any way I am up loading the two options with file names like Option_A and Option_B ,respected members, please give your choice and opinion between the two,it will help me to take a decision.

Hi Kvs,
Steel usage spec of 3.5kg/sft, is it common for all floors? Normally first floor onwords steel usage will be less, say 2.5kg/sft.i btw what is the basic price / sft ?

Very good idea of creating this thread. For beginners it will be like a perfect guide on many things. Among the two options for elevation I liked the option B.
Re: My Dream House Construction Experience
I like Option#A.
Top half of the building has better view in Option#B. But in real life top half of the buildiong will not be visible as much as the lower half. And looking at the lower half, I like option#A.
Appreciate you post. Lot to learn.

I THINK OPTION B GIVES BETTER LOOK ............IT IS MY PERSONAL OPINION SEEING AT FIRST SIGHT.
Re: My Dream House Construction Experience
option B is good
Re: My Dream House Construction Experience
I think Option A is more visually appealing than Option B with a wow feeling. Its my personal opinion.

Re: My Dream House Construction Experience
My option is “ B “ it is more symmetric (and you can secury easly), if option provided I would have changed the stone pattern (may be a good granite style)

My advice is to go for whichever option that has less of drop-wall construction required. For elevation purpose, if we are building lot of drop-walls, they will cause cracks in the walls in future, which becomes an eye sore.
