Permanent electric connection

Hello,
I need to go for permanent electric connect along with the meter board panel etc.
As i need more that 25KW capacity, my contractor is suggesting to go for a transformer.
May I know cost for this including the charges that we need to pay to the BESCOM ?

Did you install transformer at your house? How much did it cost? Can you provide me more details on that? I am also planning to go for transformer at my house.

I am not going for transformer as I believe it needs 6'x6' space and costly as well.
