In my opinion, this is a very good season to start construction. As many people doesn't give much importance to the continuous and consistent curing, during this season, construction part gets additional curing naturally than in a dry season.

But you need to give extra care for storing the Cement bags or buy them in limited quantity and do not store for longer days.
Also in case of heavy raining, give a break to the construction activity.

Basha_skj : My advice is dont start at the moment because this monsoon is bit heavy, after excavation if there is a rainfall you have to send money for pumping the water out and soil will be tuf to handle. Start after Jan 2014 and align your outer plastering with the next monsoon cycle (always keep a buffer of 2 months). So that natural curing on outer plaster is the best thing.

Allows we will take more attention in the beginning for curing and when finishing time comes we will be frustrated with lots of things, ie., Sourcing Money, Selecting end materials and tired of running/co ordiating. So we will not give concentration for curing for outer plastering so better we will give it in the hands of nature.
