This is just my opinion on a claim made by Borg.

In my knowledge, Majorly used, mono/poly crystalline Solar PV panels converts only around 12 to 20 % of the Sun light falling on it into electrical energy. Even the Concentrated Solar PV Panels which uses additional focus lens for converging the falling light Converts around 35% only. Research and Investments are happening to increase the Polycrystalline PV Cell efficiency to around 35 - 40% which may take another couple of years/decades.

I'm very skeptical about their Claim on "conversion Efficiency" of 80-98%. Would like to know the actual marketing gimmick about this fact.

Probably they are not referring to solar to DC current but the DC-AC inverter efficiency? Actually their claim is " not less than 17% " See http://www.borgenergy.com/domestic-solar-power-system
