Solar Panel for New home ...

Post by wondercupid »

Hi,

I am planning to install solar heating for my newly constructed house comprise of 2 x 3 BHK and 1 x 2 BHK. Please advice how much capacity I need to buy and which is the good company for the solar heating. Also, please provide me a tentative amount required for this.

Thanks.

Capacity does not depend on number of bedrooms, but on number of people who will be staying in each house.
To start with, it is recommended to have separate solar heater for each unit (so there is no question of one house having bath earlier and exhausting the hot water). Then for each unit, depending on the number of people expected to stay, use the optimal capacity.
You can talk to the solar heater dealers who will guide on the capacity for each unit.
I think they recommend 200 lts if there are more than 4-5 ppl in the unit.
