Mahesh,

Both are wrong. You need two lines to the chamber (one line for 4" pipe and another line for 2-1/2" pipe)

Dear Mahesh,
Please provide a Gully chamber before connecting to the main chamber. your problem will be solved. Dont connect pipe to the chamber.

Mahesh - I had the same problem. out of 5 bathrooms he had done 2 sep lines for 3 bathrooms. I forced him to cut concrete/wall to redo the separate lines for atleast our master bath. For the other one which was at second floor i just left it like that since it was too difficult to do based on our bathroom design.

my architect also insisted on 2 separate ilnes.

thanks guys i really appreciate it

for every sanitary pipe outlet ther will be chambers and corners also so totally 5 chan\mbers will be ther and for ground he will be using 6inch pipe

discussed with him he is asking more money and his reason is that now a days most of the people do the samething

labour and materia would cost me more now ...decision is still pending

Mahesh,i think you should go for different lines, though it will cost you some amount now, it is better than getting bad smell every now and then when you live in that house.

Also my plumber suggest that now a day they get a clamp which keeps sanitary pipe lines 3 inch away from the wall (vertical lines), this will be good in case there is a leakage as wall will not get affected by the leakage. Sharing this info for the benefit of all

hi vimal.,
immediately remove the conncetion, soil waste to be connected through separate line ( 1st /2nd floor waste pipes he can connect, not the wash/shower line)
