I am planning to do property insurance for my house .Please suggest some good vendors who deal with this kind of insurance and share your experience also please.

when you get information, please pass on to me as well. I am interested in covering my house with some kind of insurance. I had contacted my bank (since someone told me the banks do it), but they said, they do it only if I took a loan from them. I did not get a chance to check with the bank I took the loan from. Will do that and pass on any info I get.

Hi ,
I contacted Royal Sundaram insurance.I have spent 70lakhs currently and 15 lakhs work is still pending .I told the person to contact in 1st week Aug.This is online and for me i thought of doing it for 1 crore for 20 years .Premium comes around 65000 form 20 years.Also when we have to do these kind of insurances better to split among 2-3 vendors - Say in my case 35 lakhs with 3 vendors.In that case if anything happens at lease i get claim from 1 guy and with that i can argue with other guy what is your problem in settling the claim.Also we should check what is their claim % . It should be more then 90% if it is good insurance company.
