How to construct Roof open with only ground floor?

Hi

i am planning to construct ground floor construction ,but need to do glass covered roof Open in center of house for good lighting inside + vastu leaving Brahmasthan open.

Could any body help what is material should i use so that no leak would come via the opening ? I know Fibre glass can be used ,but how reliable it is?

What about leaks which can come because of having fibre glass in the Roof ? Any special recommendation needed to taken care while doing the concreting or by mason during plastering etc?
