Hi, Could you please help me understanding the difference between these three certificates PC, EC and Khata?
What is the significance of each of these, which is the authority for providing this and
I have to shamelessly ask what is the bribe to be given - Approx range would help

I am sure quite a few boarders will benefit from this info. Thank you in advance

Hi Kumara,

PC---possesion certificate.

its issued by Builder who built layout / apartment complex.
Ex: BDA issues possession certificates to successful allotees in a lyout / apartment complex.

without this banks wont issue loans.

EC:--Encumberance Certificate

one can get from sub-registrar office by paying nominal fee. u will get more info by looking at similar threads.

Khatha:----its a account to your property, site, apartment

its a revenue document issued by BBMP in bangalore jurisdiction, village panchayat in respective villages.

without any of this documents, bank / NBFC's wont fund.
