Hi,
I am planning to purchase a BDA approved plot and need to know the process to apply for an Encumbrance certificate:
1. Should I submit some additional docs along with the application form at Sub-Registrar office?
2. I need it for 15 years.
3. What are the fee charges?
Note: Owner has requested me to get EC as he is busy.
Thanks
Kunal
How to apply for an Encumbrance certificate
Re: How to apply for an Encumbrance certificate
1) no docs to be submitted
2) you can get for 15 years
3) Should be approx 100/-
Know the details of the site (location,dimension-including what is there is east, west, south, north of the site ) - take possession certificate zero with you if you have .
Visit area subregister office , ask for application to get EC , fill it all details and hand it over to the person along with fee (about 100 or 150/-) who issues application form.
he may ask you come back after 2 days , go and collect EC.
No need to pay any bribe.
