Dear All

Which department within BBMP will give the Commencement Certificate? Will it be the same Town Planning department which gave building sanction plan approval? Or will it be some other department with in BBMP?

Also - wanted some practical advice from the experts here - I am making a simple residential house. Do I need to halt my construction after plinth level, wait till the time BBMP wakes up and gives the certificate and then start again or can I continue making the house?
How is it actually done?

Hi,
The commencement certificate will be along with sanction plan in case of large scale projects you need early to save time on sanction process (approx 6months).For individual residential project if you get sanction just keep building .
