Thanks MSN1270 for informing us about this chat. We should definitely make an effort to get the allotment list released soon or get back the initial deposit at the earliest. In fact MUDA has announced that they will be announcing the allotment list on Aug 29 2012 per this news article in SOM.

MUDA TO DISTRIBUTE 71 SITES UNDER H-CATEGORY ON AUG. 6
Mysore, Aug. 4 (KCU&RK)- Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) will be distributing 71 sites to beneficiaries under the H-category (achievers under Arts, Science, Sports etc) at a programme to be held at MUDA premises on Aug. 6 at 11 am.
Disclosing this at a press meet at MUDA premises here today, Chairman L. Nagendra said that District in-Charge Minister S.A. Ramdas will distribute the sites at Lalbahadur Shastri Nagar and Shantaveri Gopalagowda Nagar, the composition being 20x30 (13 numbers), 30x40 (36), 40x60 (20) and 50x80 (2).
He added that Legislator H.S. Shankaralingegowda would preside over the programme to be attended by opposition leader Siddharamaiah, Housing Board Chairman G.T. Devegowda, Mayor M.C. Rajeshwari Putta-swamy and others.
Continuing, Nagendra said that Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar will distribute 3099 sites ready at R.T. Nagar and Lalithadripuram at a programme on Aug. 29 to the allottees. He added that Ministers Suresh Kumar and Ramdas would be present.

Here is the transcript of the chat with Commissioner. It sounds like people can apply for refund at MUDA office and get their money back.
1. When will the site allotment list be announced? Will the allotment list be available online on their website?
A : Very Soon, tentatively end of this month.
2. If they already have the allotment list prepared, why are they not releasing list online? In fact they can have the allotment letters distributed to the recipients from the Chief Minister?
A : Allotment list is prepared and will be distributed by the end of this month. Website will be updated soon.
3. How soon will people who did not receive a site get back their initial deposit? Will be couriered or will it be directly deposited in our bank accounts?
A : a. Applicant Deposit is being returned to the applicants approaching MUDA Office directly with the request and with IFSD Code / Bank details, deposit is being made to the A/c of Applicants directly from MUDA.
b. After the release of the Site Aspirants list by this month end, applicant deposit will be sent directly to their account by bank transfer from MUDA. I Attempt applications will not get any immediate site as there is a pending list upto VII attempts
4. When will MUDA be developing new layouts and when are they expected to call for applications?
A : Projects & schemes are under process probably by next 5 – 6 months.
5. When is MUDA alloting sites? I am applying for site from 1993. But now MUDA is poring water on our hopes and dreams, Owning a site is a wish of most people. But it is still a dream for thousands of Mysoreans and lot of Kannadigas. The Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) which distributes sites has not allotted even a single site since 2005. It also looks strange, but it is a reality now they are playing drama this time that even a pice of land by them or their parents or any dependents in anyware in India, MUDA is rejecting their application. It is a illegal and immoral act on thousands of people who are waiting from almost 20 years to have a site in heritage city. When politicians, bureaucrats & real estate & land grabbers are having plenty of land and also getting sites under G or H category, in what way justify the bonafied and eligible residents? I hope MuDA commissioner will understand such problems and address the issues.
A : MUDA for the first time has distributed 3999 sites in one go. Depending on the land availability MUDA has identified 3999 genuine applicants who does not own a site / house.
As of now ‘G’ Category will not get any sites
‘H’ Category applicants of 2005 have been processed very recently.
An affidavit is taken from the applicants stating that they do not own a site / house.
6.ALMOST 10 MONTHS COMPLETED AFTER SUBMITTING APPLICATION ALONG WITH HUGE DEPOSIT AMOUNT TO MUDA SEEKING SITE ALLOTMENT. REQUEST POSITVE RESPONSE FROM MUDA EITHER ON DESTRIBUTIION OF SITES OR RETURN OF DEPOSIT AMOUNT – TOTALLY FED UP WITH YOUR DELAYING STRATEGY.

7. your website does not provide option for checking seniority list
A Very soon website will have a provision to check seniority list.
8.My registration no 2011G0012270 dated 19.10.2011.30X40 Applied for RT Nagar.Kindly let me know what is my possision now.
