Hi Mr. Stallion76,

Outline development plan ODP is same as Master Plan 2015 in BDA official site. I am expecting(pure guess) the allotment in Feb. I just follow the developments in their site www.telecomhousing.org

Guys, any news on allotment?

I met a guy who informed me that registrations have started, some plots have been alloted too. Anyone have any updates if allotment has been done by far?

I know some people who were taken for a ride. As per the society bylaws people can become members as Associate Members if they are not the employees of telecom department. Once they become members society will allot sites based on seniority. As a result new AMs may not even get any site since new members are enrolled on a political pressure.
I am not too sure about if any quota is given to director/land developers. I have heard that land owners have got sites in some layouts but I suggest you contact the society itself before buying.
If society is already registering the sites, why wait for 4 months. Why can't he get the site now itself. Ask him to get the allotment letter and then pay may be an extra premium. Even I suggest to restrain from this since RTI can cause problems later.

There is 15% director quota in every society . Also, marketing guy says that sites to non-employee members are alloted on first come first serve basis (in contrary to wht you said "based on seniority"). Due to this mix information, this society sites are a black box. The primary reason i want to be confident on either buying it or not buying it is because they are too attractive when it comes to pricing. Just next to this this site , there is a maxworth residency layout and they are quoting 1300/sqft, where as this health city sites are being quoted at 650 /sqft. This lucrative offer actually confuses be and not letting me buy the maxworth property :) :).
Any more details/facts on these societies and their legality would be helpful.

Interesting to know that 15% director quota. Hope it is true. What I suggest you is to talk to an official of the society about such things are directors quota.
I guess first come first served is actually seniority. The first member (senior most) will get the choice first. As per a friend of mine, telecom allots like CET cell allocates engineering seats. Higher rank holders will receive first preference.
What I suggest you is: Tell him that you will give him a bank guarantee for whatever the premium for 1 year and pay the official charges to society up front. As soon as the society sends you allotment letter you release the bank guarantee. If he accepts that then you are safe since if you withdraw application or don't get the site society will refund the money and your premium will be lost. Be careful.

All housing societies are registered under Mysore Cooperative Societies Act, 1959. (http://dpal.kar.nic.in/.%5C11%20of%201959%20%28E%29.pdf). It is a co-operative movement and the directors are members who get elected to carry out the activities of the society. Directors are not owners to have a huge chunk of sites to be allotted at their disposal ( at least in theory). The exact remuneration is probably outlined in the bye-laws of the society and I would assume that a fixed 15% as directors quota would probably not be allowed by the socialist governments or by the members. With corruption rampant in housing societies, Directors not only get kickbacks from land acquisition, development works, also corner prime plots to be sold at a premium.

members faithfully pay their installments on time and think that they are allotted sites based on seniority.

As far as the mysore so called telecom lay out which is far away from city and it takes minimum another ten years for a living these are all farm lands etc only conpound fencing has been done registering of this sites is nothing other than revenue patta etc as far as i know telecom name is being misused by some influencial and with political connection be careful these so called societies are away from mysore and the members cannot reach to have any kind of clarification

Any update on Central Telecom Society projects like Green Fields 1, 2 and 3?
Appreciate if anyone provide info on these. They are saying that registration will happen in June/July, but till now our money is stuck and its getting delayed.
What is the probable persqft rate in and around Embassy Stonehill Internation school?

Warning bell to all the members in this Discussion forum, enough is enough do not encourage misguiding societies in the name of telecom. bsnl.etc please make sure you buy residential sites for the welfare of your family members ,these societies who buy farm lands growing vegetables coconuts green leaves fodder on their land are sold to these so called developers . farmers are cheated by land grabbers and political heavy weights in the main cities in our state and in the nation as a whole, these sites are purchaced by innocent members like you and me at a very high price taking bank loan from banks who have understanding and tie up with societies which are not worth, these so called sites are 40 kms from cities like Bangalore, 30 km from Mysore . Do you observe the vegetables at bangalore were sold for 80 to 90 Rupees corriander leaves were sold for 150 Rupees during festival and marriage season due to this activity , :( so if you like this article please inform your friends relatives not encourage farmlands where you cannot reside for the next 10 to 15 years, :mrgreen: which it takes to develop, buy residential sites developed by govt.authorities like BDA Muda etc .
