Deadline for Construction on BDA Site

My mother was alloted a site in Nagarbhavi in 2000, weare planning to start the construction shortly. Recently, one of my friends mentioned that BDA has issued a deadline for construction on the sites alloted. Is anyone aware of this and the details of the notification?
