Hi All,

The forum or association should become strength or a guiding factor to every one. Let us be professional and not be pointing at individuals. Every one is unique and has their own strength and weakness.

Apart from that everyone has their own self respect and they are responsible citizens. Even in the last meeting i had expressed my concern, let us not target or speak ill about any individual. Let us see how we can work together.

We appreciate the work done by Muneen, the plus point or the strength for him is the personal contact he has with MP. This does not mean the other members are not done their bit. There may be so many constraints.

The weekly BDA digest is sent to all the members who are signed to this blog "Mybdasites", it is really bad to use bad language or words on this. Let us not abuse anyone, Association is an entity and a registered body, there are certain guidelines we should follow. I request to members to delete the messages which is targeting individuals and also using bad language.

Every one cannot work in similar way like Chandan or Muneen, We appreciate their involvement and efforts.

Mr. Muneen, You are dynamic and has lot of contacts, that is your strength. Let us see how we can use others strength instead of accusing or abusing individually, it will not only hurt them but also definitely hurt everyone who is participating in this forum.

I dont see any abusive language used by Mueen. He has been pretty professional in this blog. Outside this blog, I have personally seen him do a lot of good work, Not only for 9, 10 and 11, But also for 1-8 blocks. So, why dont we just give that credit to him? And I would personally like to see him getting a more formal board member role in the association .

I agree that Chandan went a little overboard in one of his comments. But again, I think he was only venting his frustration at some of the members who do only talk and no work. But still, not fair to abuse, and hence we should probably remove that one.
I dont see a need to remove any other comments in this blog.

What I pity the most is that : with just a few 10s or 100s people in pursuit for amenities in this vast layout of entire layout 1-11 blocks, I am seeing so much of politics.
I would rather prefer to see all of the members doing some active work.

My humble request to all of you…
• Let us just forget all the negatives vibes created in this blog from last few weeks
• Avoid any personal attacks….request the members of AFERWA to use monthly meeting bring any grievances
• Mueen has been doing a great work and we must all further encourage him to continue to lead us in this fight. Fortunately his high level contacts are helping us in great way.
• As an AFERWA, let us focus on fighting for basic civic amenities with various government agencies and support Mueen in whatever way
• Just to conclude, AFREWA members and people who are watching this blog finally wants to see steady progress in layout development and that could happen only if we continue our fight with various agencies as a group in positive mindset.

I personally request all AFERWA members and watchers of this blog to stop any further discussions on these negative vibes….
Instead, I request Mueen and Chandan to publish any latest developments around 80 feet road connecting to BG Road and progress after e-tendering…

I would like to post a letter on behalf of AFERWA president Mr. Sampath Kumar (Superintendent of Police(Retd.))


"Dear All,
I Want to bring this information to the knowledge of members with trepidation, it has huge potential for being misunderstood specifically, it is addressed to the detractors among whom I count myself . I am surprised to find why there is so much fuss, chaos , derogatory statements to hold the reigns. I am least bothered about the position in the association, since my services in the department was appreciated and rewarded by united nation for having served for mission in Kosovo.
I constructed my house here in the year 2006 to live peacefully and spend my retired life happily with my grandchildren. Initially there were very few houses and many problems like thefts, robbery, no proper roads , no lights , too many snakes and water & drainage. Then the need arose to form an association during 2008 with the sole intention to show our unity to promote close cooperation between the existing few house holders and to render all possible help , advice guidance to promote safeguard of residents and civic amenities of the area and encourage oneness and to build the spirit of cooperation. We use to sit under a banyan tree and chalk out the plans of meeting BDA, BWSSB, BMTC, Police Officials and local MLA to get our layout to a proper shape. The seed was shown through the association for the developmental works. Slowly work started coming up in our layout. The main roads and cross roads which were in pathetic condition have become motor able, parks with walking pavements have come up under the high tension loads. Electricity was a big problem earlier and now it has improved with many transformers and lighting is almost complete. Cleaning of the vacant sites was done and we could get the chairs sponsored for our members to sit. At present this layout is under Ramanagara police jurisdiction. This is being taken over by Bangalore city police for the better policing. The process is under consideration. About 2 years back a meeting was held by local BJP MLA Mr. Krishnappa in Anjanapura wherein we represented and put forth our grievances and on the spot he had instructed BDA and BWSSB official regarding water , drainage and electricity etc. A BMTC bus depot is under construction in 10th block which is because of MLA Mr. Krishnappa and also 80 ft connecting road is about to open shortly. We never called the MLA for felicitation since we were not opined for politicizing the issue. I don’t want to blow our trumpet for a mere purpose , it was required for the betterment of all.
It is disheartening and discouraging that a person by name Mr. Mohammed Mueen who was recently enrolled has started blaming the office bearers with an ulterior motive. The office bearers always supported the members who had taken initiative for the betterment of layout and greeted them for each other’s good deeds.
Is there anybody to say that we have not gone to meet Hon. MP Mr. Suresh for the first time at his residence . We had gone to meet him along with all other members to show our unity along with our association letter head and exhibited our visiting cards and had a meeting regarding water and drainage etc. to our layout. Then onwards we participated in all the meetings with BDA and BWSSB officials. Timely we had appreciated ,encouraged and supported him on behalf of AFERWA.
Finally when e-tender for water supply was released we on behalf of AFERWA had garlanded hon. MP and BWSSB officials. We had also congratulated and honored Mr. Mohammad for his efforts in the monthly meeting though; I was out of station on that day.
It is hurting and painful that a lady by the name Anupama has used the words like A**H**E, Barking D**S which is defaming, derogatory and intemperate for using and accusing somebody in a social media. Mr Munivenkatapa, secretary of AFERWA who have earlier worked in govt. department as a senior officer and headed many cooperative rules and regulations. He was compelled to work for association as Secretary. He is dedicating his maximum time for the association work like up keeping records, documenting entire meeting proceedings, drafting letter to various departments and accounting the receipts and expenditure. No Paid secretary will do such perfect work and I can assure you that no association will get such a person. Blaming such and elderly senior citizen is to be condemned.
Finally I would say with all this ,I don’t want to politicize our strength and make ways for other who are very much interested.
There are too many works pending which has to be followed up like police jurisdiction, association office, Cauvery water and drainage work etc. I would request those who are fighting for the post may please take up the pending works and initiate the betterment of layout without politicizing and I am happy in quitting and thanks to all. I will leave the decision on the association members.

IN BDA MEETING HELD PREVIOUS MONTH WHERE I WAS ABSENT FOR CLEAR REASON OF THE OFFICER BEARERS NOT INFORMING ME THE PREVIOUS DAY AND IT WAS DELIBERATE ,,
