Dear All AFERWA members and Further Extension residents (9-11th Block),

AFERWA has news to cheer with its members and Residents of 9-11th block of Anjanapura Further Extension. It is my privilege to share among you as soon as I back from 19week long UK travel.

We have seen many more developments in fast few months and which were very unfortunate. But I would like brief about AFERWA and its objectives in few words,

1. AFERWA is 7year old registered Organisation, Initially started for only 11th Block by 11th Block residents later it has joined with 10th Block residents after formal request by 10th block. It had also extended its membership to 9th block too just a year back. Including 9th block was due to 9-11th block formed during same time and have issues and geography in common.

2. AFERWA is very well organized and not affiliated/supported/supporting any political party directly or indirectly. Each one is equal and all process and Procedures are controlled by its bylaws .

3. The Objectives of AFERWA is development but beyond development is knowing each of its member, socializing and helping each other in long run.

4. AFERWA is independent of any politicians directly or indirectly, All AFERWA members and Office bearers all are middle class and professional peoples, those who want leave with self respect and intends not falling in a trap of corrupted Politicians and their agents.

5. Still like to know more we welcome every site owner/residents of 9-11th Block to join and support us in common cause. At the mean time AFERWA reserves its right to cancel membership, if any member fail to adhere AFERWA's policies.

6. Monthly meeting has been shifted from 1st sunday to 3rd Saturday only to align our meeting with BDA officials present for the same. BDA commissioner had assured us, instead of residents going to BDA offices and meeting officials, BDA will send concerned officials to AFERWA's monthly meeting to listen to the issues and to update developments status of the lay out to AFERWA and its members. As part of this BDA AEE was present during May 2014. Today he was suppose to join our monthly meeting, but due to his unavoidable schedule he could not make. Even though BDA has sent good news to all existing Residents of 9-11th by sanctioning free Cauvery Water supply in Tankers till BWSSB build and commissions permanent infrastructure for Water supply.

This Cauvery Water supply in Tanker is free of cost for all residents of 9-11th block and each House No. will be getting about 18000 to 24000 Liter. The distribution and accounting of water consumption has been handed over to AFERWA by BWSSB for effective and proper utilization. AFERWA is in the process finalizing the distribution model and same was discussed in today's meeting and received suggestions from many residents. We are collecting application from the residents, who needed Cauvery water and this will help AFERWA in planning distribution.

We will be sending Application format to every registered members to their e-mail and same can be sent back to AFERWA via e-mail and also we will be uploading the same soft copy in this blog to make it available for non members they can also make use of this benefit.

Thanks for all residents who joined with AFERWA to get BDA's eye opening event. This was really great journey and AFERWA could not have achieved this without 9-11th block resident and site owner support.
