As far as I know, the 100M wide-road you see from Magadi Road <===> Mysore road is the path, this road is going to take, roughly.
It cuts across high-tech zone at Kannahalli, Kenchanapura, Sulikere (and right in the middle of NPKL), as per the BDA Master Plan.
Not sure how much of it, will turn into reality.

Few important points on this road!!!
1. This road got approved by the finance committee last week.
2. This road will link the entire layout with 5 biggest commercial hubs.
3. This was proposed to be 150ft road, but got reduced to 130ft as they want to allocate 10ft on each side for commercial purpose.
4. This road will form main hub in few years - With a huge integrated metro and bus terminal at the end of mysore road.
Check the attachments

ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಿಂದ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ರಸ್ತೆಯ ರಾಜರಾಜೇಶ್ವರಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಸಮೀಪದಿಂದ ಮಾಗಡಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಸೀಗೆಹಳ್ಳಿವರೆಗಿನ 100 ಮೀಟರ್ ಅಗಲದ 10.5ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ರಸ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಮ್ಮತ್ತಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ರಸ್ತೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ರೈತರಿಂದ 321 ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಕೆಲವರು 300 ಮೀಟರ್ ಬದಲಿಗೆ 45 ಮೀಟರ್ ರಸ್ತೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯ ಹಿತದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು 300 ಮೀಟರ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯೇ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಭೂಮಿ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವರಿಗೆ ಶೇ.60 ಮತ್ತು 40ರಂತೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಲು ಸಮ್ಮತ್ತಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ಇದೀಗ 50:50 ಅನುಪಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. 20ಕುಂಟೆ ಒಳಗಿನ ಜಮೀನುದಾರರಿಗೆ ನಗದು ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.

There are some typos in the above article: It is not 300M, but 300 feet (i.e. 100M).

330ft road confirmed by BDA and a lot of tech parks coming that is attached to this road!!!

Don't get excited with all these flashing/Breaking news. Just b'cos of general assembly elections coming up in the next 10 months, the most corrupt state Govt is coming with all these proposals to make money by rewarding contracts in advance without any ground work to meet their election expenses. Hence we see proposals like Steel Bridge project at Shivananda Circle, Tunnel Road for Air Port Road, Pod taxi at CBD....etc all of a sudden in the last few weeks.
As Promised (hyped) by the Govt, BDA is unable to call applications for the allotment of next batch of 5,000 sites for at KG layout II Batch, b'cos the first batch of allottees are unable to pay balance amount for their allotted sites for various reasons. BDA is facing lot of issues even to refund the initial deposit of unsuccessful applicants from the first batch of KG Layout. BDA had also called application for their 3500 nos 2 & 3 BHK ready to occupy Flats in Bangalore at various places, but the applications received are just 800 and even those applicants are asking to withdraw their applications, as BDA is not in a position to take any call on the allotment and there is no option for choosing the flat of their choice by the applicants and now BDA is holding a huge inventory of unsold Apartments. The entire apartment projects itself was unnecessary. They already scrapped second phase of Apartment projects (Proposed another 4000 units) already as there are no buyers for BDA Flats. BDA is an absolute bankrupt organisation.
Just wait & watch. When the New govt formed by a different Party in 2018, things may be entirely different.

Announcing these developments is one part and if they have to win.. they need to keep up their promises!!!! If they are clever enough.. they need to keep up the promise atleast from BDA side!!!
