buying old teak wood doors etc.

has anyone checked out how much the old teak wood doors and frames sell for. Just want to get an idea if it would work out cheaper than getting new ones and how much the cost differential is.

Also, any tips on how to figure out if it is good teak.

If these doors are painted now, can that be removed and finished nicely?
