Fine on non-payment of tax for empty BDA plots

Hello all,
Has anyone paid BDA tax for empty plot(50X80 Plot) in Bangalore recently. I am trying to pay it online for my sister's property in Vishweshwarrayya layout. On BDA web-site I can only see the total tax along with the fine, however break up of tax and the fine component which indicates what is the tax amount and what is the fine amount are not visible in detail. It just shows the final amount to the be paid. That is all. I had not paid for 1/2 years so I can see that tax amount is huge. So I want to know how the fine is calculated.

Has anyone paid it recently. Can I get information about the tax amount anywhere on BDA web-site. I wanted to know information about what is the fine and how it is calculated. I am trying to contact BDA over phone. I am not getting any information over the phone. Any information in this regard is highly appreciated.

In BBMP, they charged me from the year 2009, I think that is when they digitized the platform.

Hi, Please can you help me understand what are the scenarios when we need to pay BDA penalty for vacant plots.
Do we need to pay penalty just bcoz the plot is vacant for 'x' many years.

Kindly throw some light on when is this penalty applicable or applicable to what type of properties.
Is it BDA Alloted properties or is it applicable for BDA Approved private layouts as well ?
