Can Khathta Transfer be done on behalf of the owner?

Hello Adv. Muraril/ Others,

Can we have the Khatha transfer done on behalf of the owner? The owner is abroad and he has given a GPA so just wondering if the Khatha transfer can also be done on behalf of him without the owner coming down.

Hi ,

Yes! you can get Khatha transfered on behlaf of the owner provided GPA to the concerne person.
One of my friend did this through an agent by giving GPA to the agent.

Of course on behalf of owner you can represent him and can transfer katha into his name
