Hi People,

Can some one post guidelines for all the documentation work required before constructing a house

A Khata
Tax paid receipts

Plan
Plan approval
Documents from BBMP

etc

and also share their experience and cost while getting these done

Required for plan approval:

Khata - Not more than six months old
Khata extract - Not more than six months old
EC latest
Sale Deed copy
Latest Tax paid receipt
Copy of approval from BDA etc if BDA \ BMRDA approved
Plan drawn from BBMP registered architect

After plan approval you need to get from BBMP attested copies of plan, building license copy

Other formalities :
Borewell permission - sale deed, EC, application form, affidavit, fees etc. Refer already existing thread on this.
Temporary elctric connection - sale deed, tax paid receipt, approved plan copy,photograph etc
