we were looking to buy a small piece of land for constructing our house in Kengeri area. Got information on the vgp samji town just adjacent to Vishweshwaraiah BDA layout in Kommaghatta, behind the Kengeri club and adjoining Nice road and visited it. The area seems to be nice and there are a few plots left. The VGP Housing people are quoting 21 lakhs for the 30*40 plot. VGP Housing had purchased this in 1995 it seems and it was under the purview of KIADB. Now they claim that all NOC have been taken from KIADB and BDA[Not sure ..until we see the papers] They are not ready to give the papers with token amount. We need to pay 25% of the cost to hand over the papers. Although they might be genuine, but this seems risky to us since its our life savings that is at stake.
Still no trace of electricity, water there. VGP guys say that it would be ready in the next 2 to 3 months.Again, only God knows.

Please let us know if anyone of you is aware of this and help us with some suggestions.

Hanumanta, I live in the nearby locality. I am surprised by the price quoted. Its just at Rs. 1750.00 per sq. ft. It would be a good bet to purchase at this rate, because I think it is being offered at much less than the guidance value. Just be sure that you do due diligence, before you go ahead. Good Luck!

I have also seen the Samji town by VGP which is located behind Upanagara Sattellite club. The layout looks ok to me. The developer say that the layout was DC converted in the year 1995. But i dont see any amenities provided in the layout still. If anybody knows about this layout or if any owners of the plots in this layout, please help with any information which could help me decide on purchasing the plot.
