Hi,

if i am planning to construct house in a gated community site, I am trying to find details on how many sqft i have to leave on all the sides to get the building approval from BDA/BBMP. Is it possible to construct row houses if the adjacent neighbour is fine with it.

The location which i am referring is at sarjapura road. The layout is private layout but approved by BBMP .

Hi Hari,
If your neighbor has no objection you can go for row house type concept.
*It is called semi detached houses as per bye laws
*On a plot on which a semi detached building is proposed the left and the right side setbacks shall be the same as required for
the total width of the combined plot treating it is an individual site
*Min. combined area of the neighboring plots should be 140 sq.mtr
*All other factors remains as applicable to individual plots.
*This concepts are very help full to take maximum advantage of bye laws ,there are many layouts(builder projects) in this concepts .
