Hi All,

just visited Shriram Surabhi project off Kanakapura road and came to know that it has BMICAPA approval and not BDA. Does anybody know if BMICAPA approval is ok or do they need BDA approval also ? Is BWSSB Cauveri water supply tied to getting approval from BDA (they wont be having a Cauvery water supply) ?

Also, do people know about status of Metro rail extension on Kanakapura road ? I heard that it may get extended to AOL ashram right after NICE road intersection.

Lastly do you think Shriram Surabhi is a good property for investment

I was interested in this around 6 months back but then i dropped the plan due to personal reasons. I heard (needs to be verified) that there will be public road (connecting to kanakapura) dividing the two blocks. If that is the case, then residents will lose privacy and car parking space. Also the marketing guy mentioned they have plan to add 7th floor to exisiting plan of 6 floors (which is not shown in the handouts). Please verify these things.

with regards to metro, i am aware of only phase 2 plans which u can see here, may be other can update if they have more recent info

I have bought an appartment in Shriram Surabhi when it was just launched. Yes, it is true that there will be a public road between two roads that will connect to Kanakpura road. I see it as an advantage to reach kanakpura road with this new public road and then go on to use NICE road. This will not affect parking space as each appartment has parking slot alloted. Offcourse some may dislike it to have a public road in between an appartment complex. It is similar to Brigade Millenium in JP Nagar.
