Kind Attn Moderators - Need some changes

Hi Moderators/Friends,

Could we have some sort of rules which enables the forum from becoming a spamming area. Most of the old members (especially from old msn bda sites) here adhere by the rules. This is for some of the new people who do not understand the rules nor have the etiquette to post in a dignified manner. For eg these needs to be looked immediately (else this forum will turn out to be a spamming place like other websites):

1)For rental/sales need to specify the expected amount. Without this posts should not be enternained/deleted.
2)Lot of Brokers are invading the forum in General section. There needs to be a separate section for them. I can see people having 10 + plots for sale lately
3)Hijacking of threads. This includes forcefully deviating the topic and posting unrelated stuff. For eg: someone is asking the price of a plot around Devanahalli and the response is "We have a plot in Jigani"...

Sorry - if I have hurt someone. Other members, pls add other points for the moderators..

Rgds,
Kalidas

Hi kalidas,
Thanks for the feedback,we are trying to moderate the posts,as you said you can see many admin notes deleting ads with out price tags.We are working a way to monitor these.
Now that we have news mods in place ,you can expect the forum more informative and interesting.
We wanted some guidelines for formulating "code of conduct"
Looking forward for all kind of feedbacks and suggestions from members.

Regards
ADMIN TEAM

Let me thank the efforts of the moderators who've been relatively very successful in keeping this forum clean.

I definitely agree with Kalidas. We need to maintain the quality of content in order to keep the noble goals of this forum. Hijacking the topics, mass marketing, seed marketing(quoting plots but no price or location or other details) are not tolerated. In fact, the quality content is what attracted me to this forum.
