Can you please share the details of the laying person. I am too searching for the layers and many are quoting high as below
Granite - 23rs ( normal slabs) - 35rs ( gang slabs)
tiles - 15 rs
i beleive 3500 - 4500sqft is large area which should attract many layers.

Hi
You can remove POP anytime after all your work is completed and there would be no further major work with cement or paint involved, people usually remove POP before 2 to 3 days of pooja, hope this helps

Hi Jolly Thanks for your inputs, i spoke with raj the sand guy but he said currently the rough sand used for concrete cannot be delivered due to local issues from ranipet ( where he gets rough sand from) trichy sand is little small in grains which can be used for building walls and plastering.
