Hi All,
Is it a good idea to go for River sand only for Footings and Columns.. and use M-sand for other areas of the building.
What is the general recommendation. Please suggest.
Thanks.

KOS UPVC is also good and costs much less. I think < 500 per sq feet.

Concealed or hidden beams
Planning on doing a Parking+3 floor construction. Is it safe to conceal the beams, i.e align the beams along with the ceiling to a large extent .. atleast for the parking floor.. ? The idea is to have a relatively low height for the parking floor, so am trying to avoid the beams which would usually ...

Re: Only Boundary Columns for 30*40 site
Yes, that should help give some stability. But I recently saw 1 building with columns only in the boundary. So looks like it is possible. But I dont know how safe it would be.

Only Boundary Columns for 30*40 site
Hi All, Would it be possible to have columns only at the edges/boundaries of the plot, i.e without any columns inside the plot itself for a G+3 on 30*40 site. This would give a lot of flexibility in terms of placing the walls. Also since I plan on having a complete cellar parking, it gives a lot of ...
