Current drawn by borewell submersible pump
Hello, We are using a 2 HP submersible pump (Sharp point PGD27) for pumping water from our borewell (~400ft depth). We recently noticed that the pump is drawing 16AMP current, which seems to be on the higher side. I checked with the vendor and he states that upto 16AMP current is acceptable. Does an...

Correcting overhead water tank leakage
Hi, We have an overhead tank which is having seepage on the side wall, close to the bottom. Many cracks can be seen in the outer wall plastering. The tank is made out of bricks unfortunately and not RCC. I have come across Dr. Fixit pidifin 2k, which can be applied on the inner wall of the tank. How...

3m hard water scale inhibition system
Hi, We are considering the 3m scale inhibition systems ( http://solutions.3mindia.co.in/wps/portal/3M/en_IN/APAC_Water/Home/Products/Catalog/ ) to tackle the scaling due to hard water in our borewell water. Re: Glass Roof Top for Terrace
Hi, From what I understand, this is pretty straight forward. Please search for "toughened glass roofing bangalore" in a search engine and you will get a list of suppliers. Toughened glass is a bit expensive IMHO. We have done something similar at our residence (although not exactly the same) and it ...

Re: Asian Paints - Home painting services
Hi,
We had Asian Paints do a couple of designer walls for our house. I found their rates to be quite competitive and their service was excellent. Their work was also very good and we have received complements for their work by visitors.
Hope this helps.

Re: how safe is buying property from muslim owner?
I too am of the opinion that "ravi414's" question is not biased. As "PlotGuy" as mentioned, Muslim law differs from the law applicable for people belonging to other religions. I am not an expert by any stretch of imagination, but I think these differences in the law are not state specific. I was tol...

Removing stains on vitrified tiles
Dear members, We have purchased an unused (but 2 year old) apartment recently. The apartment has vitrified tiles for flooring. Unfortunately, some of the tiles have some stains. I have attached a picture for your reference. We asked the cleaning staff to help us clean this stain and I am told that t...

Re: Urgent: Terrace tile joints leakage
Thank you Praveen Sir. I will follow up on your suggestion and ask the tile layer to cut the tile joints and use the epoxy grouts suggested.
