Venki, Frankly am hearing about this granite rusting now, not sure on that . May be experts can advice. If your inclination is towards good colors, i think you should look at Double charged vitrified tiles. Do a check on the cost diff. b/w them and good granite. If i were you i would still hunt for...

Ok an update, We went for a RCC sump instead of the usual one so it took a bit of time and money to complete that. Plinth level work is finished and columns are being raised. This is true. They have banned logging. burma teak is going very expensive.They said as Burma has banned export of Teak. Timber Depot are not getting Burma Teak from 2014 and they are selling pre 2014 stock !
