Granites are natural stones and over the years it is bound to release oil or cracks occur. It also depends on the quality of granite been used. Stains once enters into the granite is not feasible to be removed.

Labor contract for plumbing is between 8K to 12k per bathroom and includes all work (rain water harvesting, kitchen, etc) except road cutting. 10K to 12k is the current rates being charged. Plumbers may say the for wall mounted commode charges will be extra but we need to hard negotiated.

This the issue when we don't finalize all costs in the beginning itself and get it signed. Ideally, per square cost should be agreed and anything extra to be clearly mentioned in the agreement document. Rs 25500/square is fine. Understand the at jigani you get granite under the range Rs. 60/70 which are procured by most of the building contractors and people for Kerala but yes quality is an issue.
